Dr. Pena was incredibly thorough. He was kind, so patient and explained the procedure so carefully and completely. I am looking forward to other meetings with him and feel confident that he is an exceptional doctor. I trust that he is so very skilled with the procedures that he performs. He made me and my partner feel very glad that he is going to do my Pulse Field Ablation. There really aren't enough words to express how confident I feel about his ability to help people. Dr Pena and everyone on his team just did an ablation procedure on me for my persistent Afib following a heart infection. I told everyone I talked to at Asante Hospital Medford while in recovery in and his office staff this morning how much better I feel and sleep. I feel he has given me a 2nd chance for a active life again, and for that I am truly grateful to him and his team. He also asked me what weight I was at when I was in really good shape. I told him that was about 40 lbs lighter then I was at the procedure. He thinks that weight loss might help get me off some of my meds and help keep me out of Afib coming back. I appreciate his honesty and frank talk and will guarantee getting down to and maintaining that weight or lower as a former wrestler in high school and college.

Dr Pena was very personable. He had reviewed my case prior to my first visit, so he could offer options for treatment right then. He was very thorough and quick with the explanation of the options and was open to questions. I am lucky to have been referred to him.

Dr Pena is a wonderful doctor. He is professional and also warm and friendly. He makes you feel like you are his only patient.
