Back in the first week of August, I had a round of testing and consultations regarding Cochlear Implant surgery. I was approved and surgery was scheduled for Oct 8. About a week later I get an email saying that I was scheduled for and echo-cardiogram on the 24th of august. I went in and had the test done. Fast forward to September 30, I go to OHSU for the final consolation and instructions for surgery and was at that time told that Dr. Celis needed to see me before the surgery. I managed to get a squeezed in appointment on Friday Oct. 4. 3 day's before the surgery I'm told that I need additional tests before he would give a approval. My surgery was then canceled. I find this to be extremely rude. Dr. Celis' office had the results of the echo-cardiogram for a full month and only at the very last moment requested an additional test. If nothing else, this is rude behavior towards Dr. Ross (the cochlear implant surgeon) and the OHSU surgical team. I will be looking for a new cardiololist

Even though we have never met or spoken he reviewed test results online with absolutely no personal contact to my husband . We find this extremely bad conduct from SAMARITAN CARDIOLOGY , but no big surprise as 99 percent of Samaritan Health is a JOKE .
