She was useless and unsafe... Don't use her. She doesn't believe your cardiac symptoms are real until youre down to almost no body fat. She also sends guesses about terminal diagnoses via email. Endocarditis intervention was delayed over 6 months because she doesn't believe patients. She sent a workout plan to someone with an actively deteriorating heart valve. If you're looking for someone who is only smart on paper, she's your girl. I hope you have a bad day Abby.
Dr. Khan is an amazing Cardiologist and I never feel rushed or unheard during our visits. She is slow and deliberate in the way she communicates with patients, which is rare in my experience. One of the things I appreciate most is her specialty work with people who've had difficult pregnancies such as preeclampsia and her knowledge of women's health in general. I needed to transition my care due to moving and previously saw physicians at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago. I'm so beyond happy with the care I receive at OHSU and am thankful for that smooth transition.
