The worst place for a Paraplegic to ever go to. Do not go here if you if you are in a wheelchair... The unnecessary BS they put me through was absolutely cruel. I had just had surgery and am still in a TLSO brace.I had 2 procedures scheduled back to back. We requested that they let me remain on the gerney to have the second test...No...they actually made me transfer back into my w/c put on the brace and wheel 2 doors down and remove the brace transfer again onto the exact same type of gerney and then transfer back into my w/c and replace the brace again. A total lack of compassion in the Ultra Sound dept. I have no respect for the hospital. It was an extremely hard day that was totally unnecessary to make a patient struggle in such a way... They have no idea how to help a paraplegic transfer . It was crazy how a health facility didn't have a clue how to help wheelchair confined patient.
