Dr. Garrett did my aortic valve replacement and aorta repair this past December. He also did the same on my brother almost 10 years ago. He did a great job. He was very attentive from the pre op, hospital stay, and post opt appointment. The nurses working with him at his office and hospital were also amazing. Him and his staff were always quick to respond with any questions or anything I needed. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Garrett is wonderful! My son had an extremely rare event of having had both lungs nearly completely collapsed. Thanks to Dr. Garrett's skillfulness both lungs were repaired at the same time with only one surgery, and via cameras with much smaller incisions, allowing for a much quicker and less painful recovery. But most importantly, Dr. Garrett is extremely kind, compassionate, well-mannered, and respectful to everyone - a rare find in this profession. I cannot say enough good things about him!
Love Dr. Garrett and his staff. I was told many times prior to my surgery that he "was the best of the best in Oklahoma." After my surgery, I would never doubt that. I had life threatening complications in my surgery and Dr. Garrett and his staff determined the problem and here I am recovering and gaining strength. I am thankful that Dr. Garrett and his staff were the ones to bring me back to health!
Dr. Garrett performed open heart bypass surgery on my 72 year old wife last April 2019 using the mammary gland for the bypass in the "widow maker." She had never had any heart issues, to our knowledge, prior to this discovery, and she made such a rapid recovery afterwards, we believe she stunned everyone including Dr. Garrett. We attribute her rapid recovery to God and Dr. Garrett. We were told many times by numerous doctors that Dr. Garrett is the best heart surgeon in Tulsa!
Dr. Garrett performed a triple bypass on my husband. The surgery was quick and went very well. There was not one person in the medical profession in Tulsa that I spoke with prior to the surgery that did not tell me that Dr. Garrett was the best Cardiac surgeon in Tulsa and that my husband would be in the best hands! So grateful and thankful for this skilled surgeon.
