About Dr. Mathew B. Good, D.O.
Dr. Mathew Good FACC, RPVI is a highly skilled Cardiologist at the Oklahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa, OK. With expertise in invasive/noninvasive cardiology, Dr. Good specializes in adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography, peripheral vascular ultrasound, and MRI. He is also the director of cardiac rehabilitation at Hillcrest Hospital South. Dr. Good completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular at the University of Kansas Medical Center and his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the same institution. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and cardiovascular computed tomography.

I am a retired RN, so I've known many physicians who listen and truly connect with the patients in front of them, and dozens who show up, physically, but feel more like a technician than a fully present, empathetic physician. I'm happy to say that my first meeting with Dr. Good, as a new patient, was thorough and professional, but with EXCELLENT eye contact, while seeming fully comfortable in talking with me in an unhurried, interested manner, absorbing my related info and ordering appropriate clinical tests and follow-up. I felt truly heard and respected, as well as unhurried and really "seen." These are rare qualities to find, and I will, definitely, be going again, as warranted. I moved from California to Oklahoma almost 3 years ago. Once i stopped working in California there was a need to setup a new primary physician. Even though i was seeing a cardiologist in California, Dr Good found issues with my heart that my prior cardiologist had not found!
