this morning I had an appointment at 8:30 and arrive 10 minutes early to only sit in the doctors office until 9:10, for the doctor to not come in, or anybody else after I was taken to my room. I then approached the front desk worker and let her know that my appointment was at 8:30 and instead of trying to see what was going on. She just said " I will let them know you don't wanna wait for your appointment "... seriously? It's not that I don't wanna wait. It's that I have to work, and I don't have all day to sit around at a doctors office. if you can't handle a heavy patient load, then you shouldn't be scheduling patients back to back. It's that simple. Now I have no idea what my monitor results will be after them messing up my last appointment and having to reschedule to this one, because again their office sucks at communicating with each other.

I really must give accolades and praise to this doctor's office. A special recognition to Tami, in the office, and Leslie-PA. While no one wants to hear the words 'a stent is not going to work, you need open heart surgery' - their professionalism and efficiency in navigating the pertinent tests, and referring us to the best surgeon- all made us feel so much better. Dr Higgins saved my life, but his staff and office is horrendous. The office is dirty and his staff is very unprofessional. The office manager has no business running a medical office. His staff needs turnover to allow room for people who are aware they're dealing with patients that have heart problems and not a headache. They don't take their job serious and I hate that for Dr Higgins. He deserve a better office and staff. What a shame! I hope Zero Card realizes the staff that represent their services. I'd rather pay out of pocket than deal with that staff.

He did a "common" surgery (is what they said) on my father that killed him. He also never reached out to us when or after it happened to see how he was.

I have been attempting to see a cardiologist since December. I have had to reschedule due to covid back in January and then I was contacted to schedule something like a week and a half ago. I have asked them several times to remind me the morning of my appointment as I am forgetful due to a head injury I sustained years ago. This morning I was supposed to go in at 10 o'clock but never received a phone call and when I called to see what time I was supposed to be there the lady told me I missed it and couldn't come in till April 14th. I was upset because this will be the 3rd time and besides the time when I had covid it wasn't my fault before. The lady who answered the phone chuckled at me and said that I had covid before. . . First of all that's not a funny thing in any regard . . Secondly when I asked her to please notate my account to show that I needed a courtesy call the day of the appointment she said "we'll try" and then just let it at that. I've been trying to see a cardiologist for 3 x months if anyone has any recommendations for one that is staffed with receptionists that care that would be very appreciated.
