About Dr. John Summers, MD

Dr. John Summers is a native of Oklahoma. He was born and raised in the Tulsa area where he attended and graduated from the University of Tulsa. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was awarded numerous academic awards including top academic scholar of his class. He graduated ranked first in his class. Dr. Summers then completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Summers then completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. D...

Im sure Dr Summers is a very good doctor, but I felt rushed from the moment I was brought back to the room. Even the assistant that checked my vitals and such made me feel that way. This has been a very scary experience for me, as I have never had heart issues before. There were things I had written down I wanted to discuss, but I felt everyone there was working off a set script, and really didn't have time to listen to my concerns. He ordered test Im sure I need, but I wish he had seemed a little more interested. I don't want to discourage anyone from seeing him, Im sure he was booked up and felt he needed to move on.
