I want to share my thoughts on the care I received at The Oklahoma Heart Hospital North. The first person I saw was Anne Dude NP. She was excellent in getting the basic work- up I needed. My cardiologist care was outstanding. The crew for the Cardiac Angiogram team was very professional and calming during this procedure. Since I am a retired Physician Assistant I feel the care was the best. Everybody know in the Medical Profession, the people in this profession make the worst patient's because we know to much!

I am SHOCKED that I am charged 2 different charges for each simple office visit. After I pay my copay for a simple visit, no lab, nothing extra, I am charged an extra $275. I should have $0 due after my copay for a simple office visit. I am disputing the bill like I disputed the first one and asking my PCP for a referral for another doctor NOT in any of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. They are charging me for my visit to see the physician PLUS a facility visit because the doctors clinics operate as an outpatient department/hospital (even though I am there for an office visit). I was seen years ago and was NEVER billed an extra $275 charge for an facility visit. My ins says if it is coded as an office visit instead of a hospital office visit, it would be paid in full. Here was the reply I got after disputing the charge and telling then what my ins said, again this is the 2nd time this has happen, they corrected the first after a few emails of me disputing that bill.... We have reviewed your charges, and they are correct per our provider-based billing guidelines. I understand the confusion, because there are always two charges for a visit; one for the physician, and one for the facility. Our provider clinics operate as outpatient departments of the hospital. The employees are hospital employees, and the facility fee includes the access to and use of equipment, supplies, and technologies that an independent physician could not afford to provide in the office. This also means that our clinics are held to hospital-level standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, which is very different from independent doctors' offices. In a critical specialty like cardiology, we believe this is an important distinction. I'm sorry that I can't change the billing method, but I hope this helps to explain it a little better. We can help you get set up with a payment plan if needed. We also offer financial assistance for those who qualify. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Dr. Syed Ali Provided me with the absolute worst experience possible. I never thought that I would have to leave the room during a doctors appointment because the doctor was so hateful, but that is exactly what happened. From the moment he entered the room he was judgmental, hateful, condescending and completely unprofessional. He made inappropriate comments that were outside his scope as a cardiologist and demonstrated extremely poor bedside manner. When told that his comments were condescending and I was ending the appointment, he loudly and purposefully laughed as I exited the room. I would never recommend him, or any network that allows this type of unprofessionalism.

My experience with this hospital was the worst. Aside from the lab employees, I witnessed absolutely no empathy. I thought scheduling was rough and then I saw a physician. The Dr. basically looked at me like I was crazy, told me it might be neurological, and then he ordered lab tests. The follow up? Take a vitamin. Ok, thanks. That's gonna solve all of my problems. I cannot recommend Dr. Schoeffler for care.

I have had a heart surgery done in this hospital. I would recommend it to anyone who needs heart work done. The nurses were amazing. I asked one of them if she liked her job and she said yes it is the best facility to work with they treated all of them with kindness and respect. As soon as I heard that I knew I was in the best facility. Loved it
