About Dr. John Summers, MD
Dr. John Summers is a native of Oklahoma. He was born and raised in the Tulsa area where he attended and graduated from the University of Tulsa. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was awarded numerous academic awards including top academic scholar of his class. He graduated ranked first in his class. Dr. Summers then completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Summers then completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. D...

Had some heart issues and was sent to Dr. Summers. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. He answered my questions and seemed very knowledgeable.

Dr. Summers always listens and answers my questions. Very polite. Although I did have an issue with the nurse that took me in to a room for vitals and to wait for Dr. Summers. I told her that her attitude wasn't making me very comfortable. She apologized and got friendlier, so I didn't say anything to him about it.
