Dr. Weitzel prescribed repatha without a blood test for cholesterol. I injected myself 4 times and I am now suffering from excruciating muscle pains. I am taking ibuprofen 3 times a day and exercising to overcome a side affect from this medication. What kind of a Dr. prescribes a new patient that tells him no statins with no blood work? A careless Dr., in my opinion.
I am a new patient of Dr Weitzel and am very happy with his care. I'm a retired ER RN of 49 years recently moved from San Antonio UHS ER to OKC to retire. He is impressive.
Dr Weitzel is fantastic!! He is highly intelligent and he takes the time to listen and understand. He provides knowldegeable, helpful, real advice. He will give you the answers that you need. He personaly has saved my fathers life on more than one occasion. They orginaly met @ the OHH S. He interviened after my father had a heart attack in 2013. My father still sees him today. I had to start seeing him a few months ago myself. He provided me with great options & advice based on my Family Risk Preventative measures. He did an ECG as well as ultrasound and labs to access my heart health. December-2021 Dr Weitzel and staff are still extremely kind! Wonderful, Consistent care!!
I believe whether one needs a doctor, home security, or an electrician, etc... they need to call customer service 1st. WHY? I have called Oklahoma Heart hospital a few times now and it's a lengthy wait EVERY TIME... then, after reaching the operator, they redirect the call to his office and then I get a machine. Sick and tired of hearing ... "due to heavy call volumes" or "there is no one to answer your call, please leave a message". If you can't hire someone after 2 years now to answer the freaking phone, my question is.... how do you stay in business?
