Speaking as a nurse and a family member. My sister went to Dr. Koomson and he mis-diagnosed her with congestive heart failure (CHF) and completed 2 un-necessary ablations on her heart!!! WTH??? After 8 months of the wrong medications, retaining 40lbs of fluid and telling her that "sodium is not your friend" I finally said enough! We got a second opinion at Baptist CHF specialist ( Dr.Tan) and he immediately ordered the correct testing, which resulted involved a pulmonologist. Now she has the correct diagnosis of PULMONARY ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION!! DO NOT GO TO HIM IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! My sister almost in his care! I would rate HIM ZERO STARS, but that is NOT an option!
