Dr. Dwayne Schmidt is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and subsequently a Research and Interventional Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Schmidt also formerly served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

I feel so grateful to have found such a fabulous clinic! Dr Schmidt, Dr Khaled, Jason and Matthew are so professional and kind. They have a wonderful staff. Their surgical team is the best and they take care of you and really help you feel comfortable and at ease. The building is so attractive and very welcoming!
Always waiting in the waiting room for an hour every visit. We work and bring my father for his appointments. It is so sad that this doctor can't be better at scheduling appointments. There is no communication between him and his PAs. We get one report from the doctor and the PA says something completely different
Absolutely appreciate Dr Schmidt and all of his staff for their care! Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Drs and staff are absolutely fantastic. Kind professional and accommodating. Waiting room is the only negative. Uncomfortable chairs and feels like they used an Irish bartended for an interior designer. But I would still endure the ugly rose and chain chandelier to go here.
Dr Schmidt performed an angiogram on me and I was very pleased with the experience. I had one previously at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital and I rate the one with Dr.Schmidt as better. CV Health has their own hospital, and the staff was top notch. After my procedure Dr. Schmidt came into our room and showed the results on the TV in my room. Each part of my heart had a video file associated with it, which showed in detail what was happening to each artery. Follow up was thorough the next day as I Geof a call reminding me of my post care and asking for questions. There are options for great heartcare besides the large hospital systems, and CV clinic and Advanced Surgical Solutions is one of them.
