Dr Shakir is great. Only problem was with the billing department of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.. Would only send a bill for $500 as a miscellaneous charge or a weird code no one could decipher. Even going in person they refused to abide by the patients bill of rights and let us know what the bill was for. Had to go to my HR dept. and have an arbitrator find out why I had to pay $500 instead of a $50 co pay. The most devious and deceptive billing department i have ever had to deal with
Dr Shakir is a very great Cardiologist and a great internal medicine doctor. Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I will recommend him to my family and friends. Very friendly and efficient office staff as well.
Dr Shakir is very knowledgeable and has a friendly personality that makes you feel at ease. He's been taking care of my parents for almost 20yrs and I trust that he'll be taking care of them for many years to come. He communicates with the patients in a way they understand what treatments are available and best for their situation.
He's such a good caring doctor. He is getting ready to put another stent in my heart next week. Would most definitely recommend!
