Dr. Wasburn Takes the time to listen....Really LISTEN to a patient without any preconceived idea of any health problem. Considering my health issue is diabetes, he listened to my general health condition and discovered a medical condition not within his specialty...and relayed that condition to the correct specialist, which turned out to be SPOT ON Correct. As an older physician, experience as well as medical training makes his analysis of medical conditions especially valuable when it comes to patient care. Additionally his interpersonal relationship with his patients is more like that of a Dad, rather than as a clinician, so discussions are more family member to family member than clinical physician to off-the-street patient. There is a "warmth" in his care that is rare among family and specialist physicians today, and that "warmth" translates to a caring practice. I would have loved to have him as my family practitioner when I moved to Enid, 35 years ago!

Dr. Washburn and his team have been absolutely wonderful! They always take great care of me and show that they actually care about my health instead of trying to rush me back out the door. Pleasant experience every time!

I can't say enough about Dr. Washburn. I think my wife Cliffa first saw him back in 2002. Since that time, we've moved away from Enid America 2-3 times due to reassignments and/or family illnesses. We've always managed to make it back since our kids and grandkids are still here, and lucky for us Dr. Daniel Washburn is too! Myself (Darryl because I'm diabetic) and my wife Cliffa who has seen him because of her thyroid problems over the years and daughter Shannon who was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 12. Dr. Washburn is the type of doctor you want to go see. He's personable, funny, smart and he listens to your questions and concerns. I hope he knows he can NEVER LEAVE ENID or RETIRE!

I'm very proud to say I have the best doctor in the state of Oklahoma ! A few years ago I felt I was pretty sick really didnt know what it was causing my problems because every doctor I went to blew me off and I felt horrible all the time couldn't get off the sofa couldn't stay awake. Dr Washburn knew exactly what was wrong prescribed the proper medications and I've been fine since.He monitors me closely like I should be monitored and he actually listens to my concerns and symptoms .Recently I fell ill and had to be transfered to the city from my home town to a higher level of care and when I called him he immediately got me into monitor my health and make referrals to include other specialist to collaborate with. I highly recommend him because he treats patients the way they need to be treated and I felt I'm safe under his care and know he knows best. By the way I travel over 4 hours one way to see him and don't hesitate doing do! I can't say enough good about him .

Very informative visit. Found out more info from Dr Washburn than all my four years with another endocrinologist. Took a lot of time answering my questions. I felt very comfortable and confident in the advice he gave me.
