Ok Heart Hospital Physicians

My wife had an appointment with Dr Weitzel yesterday and I accompanied her into the exam room with her. We sat there for 10 minutes before he came in and told her to our shock that she had offensive body odor and couldn't see her that day. My wife had a shower the evening before and I can say categorically that she was normal, although he gladly accepted our $25 co pay. Needless to say we will never go back to this doctor again. The only thing I can say is that if you want to see this doctor, you had better ply yourself with perfume beforehand .

My father was scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Weitzel this morning at 10am. I took time off of my schedule and my husband took off work to watch our toddlers so that I could go with my parents to dad's appointment. My parents are both in very poor health and it's extremely hard for them to travel. We decided to postpone dad's dialysis treatment last night because it makes him too weak to walk and it would have made the trip this morning even more difficult. We drove over an hour to get to his appointment only to be told his appointment has been rescheduled for a later date. When we asked the receptionist why we did not receive a phone call or a letter stating this she said, "I don't know I only check people in." I said, "well we need to see a doctor today" and she informs me there are no doctors there today. Why are you even open then? First experience with these people and I'll say I'm pretty livid. Very unprofessional. Wish I could figure out who's responsible for patient scheduling. I'd definitely file a complaint.

They say the average wait time is 15 minutes, but the last two times I've been here, the wait time in the lobby has been 45 minutes to one hour...then the wait in the room. But, if you are 15 minutes late to your appt, they reschedule.

I saw Dr Metcalf. He was very personable. His staff, from the receptionist to his assistant were friendly, and helpful. I am going to trust these people withn my heart.

Very disrespectful on the phone. My dr left the practice.
