Austin Square Medical Group was formed in 2007 by Gregory J. Facemyer, MD, FAAFP, in Dr. Facemyer's hometown of Austintown, Ohio. He designed it under the premise of developing a model for the modern-day Family Practice, which more clearly resembles the traditional nature of the old-fashioned Family Doctor. This viewpoint is often contrary to the complexity and depersonalization of the more modern Family Practice.

Love the staff there everyone is so nice and pleasant. The wait time is atrocious if you have an appointment make sure you have nothing planned for the next 3 hours. Also I didn't realize that he charged by the time block I've never seen him pull out a stop watch or anything but I know I've never been face to face with the doctor longer than 10- 15 minutes but he's charging me for 30 time block. I'm still in utter shock with the copay I have to pay if we go back I will have my own stop watch.

Dr. Facemyer is a great doctor. Fantastic bedside manner, great personality, actually cares about his patients and listens to their concerns.
I leave a 1 star review due to the unprofessional front-end/nursing staff. I've been coming to this practice for about 3 years now. I've rarely been treated well by them. Every time I've visited, I've been treated like an annoyance. Upon receiving attitude over the phone as to why I had even booked an appointment, and talked to as if I'm an inconvenience time and time again, that's it for me.
And yes, the reviews stating a 1-2hr wait time to even been seen are correct.

Dr. Facemyer is a nice, personable doctor; however, it's just not worth the extensive wait time. If you show up in the morning, he is not actually in the office yet so there is a wait. If you show up in the afternoon, you can still expect to wait 1.5 hours. If you have extra time, it's a fine place to go. Today, I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room plus another hour in the room and never saw the doctor.

Dr. Facemyer is great! He's very through and welcoming. Lori is the ultimate, she's very helpful and went above and beyond to help me with difficult prescriptions through my insurance. Just be prepared to wait. Easy 2 hours every time.
