Ohio Chest Physicians: Westlake Office

I had a great experience there after my previous Cpap Doctor retired and he suggested this group. Dr Ricaurte was kind and she took the time to ask many questions and explain everything to my. The practitioners who work with her were also great in getting all the preliminary information for the doctor. The office is in Building #3 in Westlake next to the hospital and easy to parking close to the door. They were helpful in getting my requests in for DME supplies and asked if I was getting enough supplies. I saw another review that wasn't kind but it's very understandable that a doctor won't prescribe anything if they haven't seen you within a year. That is common practice now because of their liabilities in doing this.

I have been very disappointed with the care I've received. I have been coming here for 3+ years, Dr. Ricaurti first saw me in the hospital for COPD. I think Dr. Ricaurti is a good doctor the problem is that in the 3+ years being her patient, I've only seen her for about 4 minutes. They always schedule me with the nurse practitioner ( whom is a nice young woman) but is not a pulmonologist. This pandemic has been hard on everyone and because I already have lung disease I have been very, very careful. I called the doctors office last week to get a refill on my rescue inhaler and the office girl told me they won't refill my prescription because I haven't been to the office in over a year!! Now I'm not an unreasonable person but seriously the TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED appointment girl has the authority to DENY ME A RESCUE INHALER!!! She didn't even ask anyone. I've only received one of my two vaccines and by the time I get my final shot I will find a new pulmonologist.

The office staff is not open to any questions or concerns of the patient.Never saw the doctor only a nurse practitioner. I sat In the back room for 50 minutes. I was treated very poorly
