Dr Velez is great. He always makes sure that I get all of my questions answered at each visit. He doesn't want me leaving without me feeling comfortable about everything we have discussed while I am there. He recommended the absolute best heart surgeon to do my open heart surgery and the best place to get it done- Cleveland Clinic. The staff is amazing as well. Always friendly and helpful. I am very happy with my care with this provider.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Velez! He takes the time to really listen & answer questions & concerns. He explains things in a way that the average person can easily understand. He is very proactive in creating a care plan for your individual situation. He keeps current in all the latest studies & technology involving heart health. Even though he sees many patients he makes you feel like you're the only patient he has for the day!

My husband had a serious health event and was cared for by Dr. Velez in the hospital and is now his cardiologist. Dr. Velez spent a lot of time with us at the in-office visit and answered my numerous questions. He was very patient while he addressed all of our questions and concerns.
