Dr Patel is patient, listens to you & has a great attitude. I appreciate that he doesn't want to put you through unnecessary test. But will certainly advise in anyway that will benefit you. I also appreciated that I did not have to wait long to get in to my 10am appt. Very efficient. The staff was very friendly & helpful. .

When I first got to my appointment, I was very apprehensive about what was found in my echocardiogram but Dr. Patel soothed my head and heart by explaining what was suggested on the test results. His concerns were for my well-being. A plan of action was drawn up to find out in the "inside" of my heart with another more aggressive test, but then we would have a better understanding for our next step. Thank you Dr. Patel for your patience and understanding

It's great when I get to see Dr. R Patel as I feel he has a handle on all of my issues that I have with my heart. As I get older, my problems get more complicated and my medicine get numerous. I couldn't believe it when I got it the next day cause it's usually months before I can see anyone.I feel these cardiologist are the best of the area.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Upamaka, and was searching for a new cardiologist. My first visit (Fostoria office) went very well! I was early and was taken straight back to the examining room. The medical staff were all pleasant, professional, and efficient. Dr. Patel reviewed my chart, my history, my test, and my medications. He provided insight into my cardiac history and went through my medications. Dr. Patel was very personable, while educating me on my condiiton and what I should do to monitor it. I appreciate the time he took to listen!
