Mohammed Shuaib, MD

I met with Dr. Shuaib for the first time last week after having an A fib event. He took the time to listen to my concerns and questions. He answered my questions and explained what happened in a way I could understand. While I hope I don't have on-going issues, if I do I hope I continue seeing him.

Very pleasant experience. Dr. Shuaib took time to talk to me about my progress, inquired about any symptoms or issues that I was experiencing and answered my concerns to my satisfaction. He is not a stereotypical doctor....he is very patient-focused, friendly and puts his patients at ease.

Dr. Shuaib was available because he had a cancellation for the next day when I called. He ordered several tests, discussed a stress test and subsequent heart catheterization if needed. Very clear on possible risks. He was a very attentive listener, even coming back after we had finished when I remembered another question I wanted to ask. The issues under review were mostly unexpected by me, so it was all a little overwhelming. If you are older, take a companion with you, perhaps.

I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Shuaib. He knew my history. He explained test results clearly. He was encouraging and answered all my questions. He was clear in giving instructions for a future test and appointments. I am very happy to be in his care.

Dr Shuaib was great, very polite, courteous and thorough. I felt very comfortable there. Took the time to ask me about my history, family history and the reason for my visit. The nurse that took my vitals and checked me in was also wonderful.
