Edward Gildeh, MD

Dr. Gildeh is my mom's doctor. She's been feeling unwell for over a year now, ended up in the hospital for a few days to find out she has heart valve issues, and Dr. Gildeh ended up being assigned to her during his rounds and he has a very calming presence, doesn't talk down to her, doesn't talk over her, and is very thorough when explaining the next steps in her treatment plan. He didn't make us feel rushed and stayed to answer every single question we had. Following up with him after her discharge in his office she was treated wonderfully and even though we had gotten some scary news, he walked us through test results, her prognosis, and the next steps. Even though this is a terrifying time in my mom's life, we both agreed 100% that Dr. Gildeh had amazing energy and we felt beyond confident in his ability to help my mom through this unexpected path her life had turned down. Great doctor!!

I was diagnosed to have HBP (hypertension) over 40 years ago and have seen many cardiologists for treatment which mainly consisted of various medication regimens, diets and recommended lifestyle modifications. It was not till I started seeing Doctor Gildeh that I have been able to keep my blood pressure in an acceptable stable range. He made a change to my daily medications that has had a very positive result. He has a thorough understanding of available medications, and his exams are thorough. He never rushes through my appointments, and he answers all my questions. He adds extensive notes to my file and follows up on my concerns expressed in previous visits. To summarize, Doctor Gildeh MD is very professional, and I am personally so thankful I found him and that I am in his care.

My last follow-up with Dr. Gildeh was a few days ago; so, I want to share the following as my thank-you note for him: During my cardiac work-up over several months, Dr. Gildeh treated me with kindness and compassion. I am a minority who has been recovering from a major illness. Dr. Gildeh always made me feel comfortable as his patient. He respected me at my most vulnerable; I think it shows the depth of his good character and cultural competency. I can tell he stays up-to-date on medical literature by the way he answered all my questions (yes, I "quizzed" him :D Anyways, all joking aside....) I haven't been so informed leaving a physician office...Dr. Gilded was amazing took time to explain everyone of my 9 meds...listen to me...even when computer crashed...he didn't stop. Thank you Dr.
