Wonderful, amazing, knowledgeable and insightful physician I have ever met. The staff works very hard to support Dr. Roberts in such a way for him to practice what he knows best. I feel blessed to have been able to be a part of his team.

Best cardiologist around, possibly one of the best in the nation. Dr. Roberts is a genius (even my PC used to travel a long distance to attend his lectures and considers him a genius) and he is kind, thorough and caring. Not sure why all the fuss about his staff, in my experience they have all been polite. Ultimately, what matters is health outcome and this is the place to go if you want a knowledgeable doctor looking after your situation.

My father (85yrs old) has been a patient of Dr. Roberts for over 20 years. The doctor is thorough and extremely knowledgeable of traditional and natural alternative medicine therapies. The staff has always been professional and kind. I read the bad reviews which prompted me to write this. The staff works hard and are very busy. Don't let the bad review stop you from trying this great professional team!

If you are looking for a great doctor... unfortunately this review will not be able to answer your question. However, it will give you insight on what to expect before you are granted permission to see the doctor. The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude! Two referrals had been sent after the first apparently didn't make it, even though my doctor's office had a confirmation fax, and I still had to contact them. I had the displeasure of dealing with Melody and ONLY Melody; if I even attempted to try to deal with the situation with another staff member, I was nervously told that I would be transferred to Melody. She was extremely disrespectful and denied me a visit, then followed up with the question "What are you seeing him for?" At this point I thought maybe I had made a mistake so I asked her what was written on the script. She responded "Oh" then read it allowed, clearly indicating that she wasn't even sure herself why she had denied me an appointment. After this confusing and demeaning conversation, constructive communication continued to get worse with her. To solve the problem, I SUGGESTED that I would contact my doctor's office to figure it out. Upon contacting my doctor, they explained and said they would personally call to clarify and that yes, they wanted me to see Dr. Roberts. After the okay from my doctor, I called again and was once again engaged in a troublesome conversation with Melody. Her power trip continued as she once again denied me a visit even after admitting that she did speak with my doctor's office. She claimed "I don't know why they told you to call back, I told them I would not make you an appointment." I could not even attempt to figure out the problem at this point because SHE decided that hanging up on me was the best solution and did so twice. I decided there was no point in calling back; after all, the best way to protect your self worth is to disengage from those who drag it down and entice you to be as mean and nasty as themselves. To sum it up, I will not be able to accurately review the doctor's performance because Melody decided her opinion mattered more than a doctor's and she seems to be the one running the show. I can, however, warn you about the possible toxic environment; Enter At You're Own Risk or least avoid Melody handling any situation, including the basics such as scheduling your new patient appointment. It's too bad because I had heard good things about Dr. Roberts and have been blessed with great insurance at the moment, making it extra important that I get the care I need before it is too late.
