Belmont Cardiology - Dr. Devender Batra

He continues to order unnecessary tests and bills Medicare for untrue ICD 10 codes. He lies to patients. He recently ordered an unnecessary stress test for my father. He told him the stress tests are routine tests and should be given every two years. Then in order for Medicare to pay for the test, he said my father was having chest pains. Totally not true! I was with my father at his appointment as well as the past several appointments. My father has never said he was having chest pains! Just wondering, wasn't there a million dollar Medicare issue a few years ago? Time to retire Dr. Batra

Plan accordingly for appointments taking up to 2 hours. I bring my mom here and she'll sit in the waiting room for at least half an hour, sometimes an hour before being called back. Then, waits up to another hour just waiting in the room. The actual doctor seems to be decent though. Doesn't spend much time in the room, but is pretty straight forward. Just a lot of time waiting.

A family member of mine sees this doctor and they're not happy with the way he treats them at all. You'll be lucky if he spends five minutes with you...he doesn't write prescriptions, he does stress tests and that's about it. He just wants your money. When he listens to your heart he doesn't take a proper amount of time to hear anything. Not even one minute ! Will send you all the way to Columbus at 3 a.m. and who wants to do that when you're not feeling well and worried about having a stroke or heart attack. Ridiculous.

Very friendly staff an Dr Batra is very polite n explains all to you.I enjoy my visits...my daughter also likes Dr.Batra n his staff. And very clean exam rooms.thanx you
