Patient
I am not the patient. Recently spouse was to have a test and spouse was expecting sedation. The dr to do test said she had no orders to sedate. tried to convince the 82 yr old patient to gargle with lidocaine so throat would be numb for 6 hrs. patient refused and she kept talking. patients have rights . stop talking and don't try to pressure. To date Dr Acker or anyone has explained why the hospital didn't have any sedation orders or apologize for screw up. my husband complained to this dr 6 months ago about lightheadedness he told him have your eyes checked. there is nothing wrong with eyes but the value not working properly causes lightheadednessI went through it with my son. repeatedly we have asked the nurses to contact me because spouse gets confused he has given permission and yet they continue to call him. stil no explanation of screw up or apology and they have convinced him to have some other test to look at valve. he has agreed to do whatever they say , he researches nothing they say. it takes them too long to get back and my husband is on his I will not help him. I printed off explanations of tests with comparisons. It's your heart second opinions always important if doubts.
