Made a new patient appointment online via MyChart. No mention or disclaimer about no show fee. Morning of appointment cancelled via MyChart (due to sick child at home) as office was not open early in the morning to call. Months later received bill for no show fee. Called office to discuss bill and was rudely told it's their policy, they can't remove the fee, and it's not their problem that MyChart does not mention the fee or have any information or disclaimer. Months later I made an appointment and went, no one mentioned this bill was made to me at that appointment. I will no longer use this office or Dr Miniaci since they have hidden fees. A fee for a habitual no show patient is understandable but a first time patient that has no knowledge of policy is wrong.
