This was the worst experience I've had at a walk in clinic. I went in to get my depo preovera birth control shot like I usually do and when I got to the counter I was denied. The secretary looked at me like an alien and refused to give it to me, saying it was illegal. On short notice I had to drive to another doctor to get the shot. When I arrived to the gynecologist I asked about my experience and my nurse practitioner told me that she had no idea why they refused to administer my shot and it is not illegal. And I'll add that I was an established patient at the clinic and have gotten the shot there multiple times before I had to go to a clinic closer to my college for a few months. The clinic did not explain why it was 'illegal' and I still cannot find anything online that says it is. I have had good experiences here but will NEVER go back.
