A great hospital with great care. When coming out of anesthesia, I'm always so cold, and they even had little heaters on the wall with a hose to put under your blanket! Life changing! Highly recommend Dr. Shaw, as well. Personable and kind, and he explains everything thoroughly.
Terrible ER. Arrived in terrible pain. Checked in literally on my knees because of the pain. When nurse called my name I said I didn't think I could stand up. Reply was "how did you get in here?", followed by "if you don't walk back here we'll give your room to someone else". Very professional. Went to Promedica and was diagnosed and treated for kidney stones by staff that knew what they were doing.
I was treated professionally and with dignity. The doctors and nurses did a wonderful job taking care of me. They kept me well informed on everything. One complaint. The food is not very good. All and all a good experience.
The medical professionals are not the problem, the billing department has INTENTIONALLY omitted information that needed to be provided to the VA for my emergency room visits. I am a veteran and any other hospital I have gone to I have NEVER had a problem. Go to Promedica, they at least have half a brain
Took my daughter here on 10-13-25 she is 13 weeks pregnant and was spotting we got there at 3:00 pm and the nurse she had was wonderful but the others I would not recommend them she was nervous thinking she was loosing her baby and we wanted answers and never got any real answers the ultrasound tech was rude we had asked do you see a heartbeat for baby to ease the mind and she stated I can't tell you so we ask the er Dr and she said we have to wait for the radiologist to tell her ok how is the blood work you took 3 hours ago and she says all we got is the blood type so far that was a lie because it only takes 90 minutes to get the results so your telling me you only got her blood type in 3 hours and they do a pelvic exam and don't tell us nothing and well they leave and we never see them again the new Dr that comes on at 7 and we don't see him till 845 tells us I didn't do any of your stuff so idk and discharged her at 9 with absolutely no answers to anything don't go here your better off going elsewhere
