I went to the E.R. in May of 2005 never thinking I would be spending the next four days there because I had a heart attack. Dr. Cassavar came into my room the next morning, and told me what happend and that he was going to have to put a stent in. I am still seeing Dr. Cassavar and he is such a great doctor. He has a great personality and always asks if you have any concerns that he should know about. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Cardiologist.

My wife Kathleen is typing this for me, I am sharing my thoughts with her. It seems "irregular" for me to critique a heart specialist and surgeon, but I must say I couldn't think more highly of him. I am happy at this moment I have not had to have surgery. Dr. Cassavar is also. I feel comfortable with him and know he has the knowledge to care for my needs when and if they would arrive. I have made it to the ripe old age of 90, feel pretty good, look pretty good, and believe I have been blessed beyond belief. It is necessary for me to have the type of specialist he is. It is important for me to follow his direction when it comes to blood pressure medication. We have great discussions, he checks me physically for any changes. I would wish for no other cardiologist.

He is the first Dr. I've worked with that was punctual. He was waiting to come in when the nurse left the room. He's a blunt straight shooter which I really appreciate. I think we will get along awesome and look forward to him being my Cardiac provider.
