Patient
I would give zero stars if possible. Our experience with Dr. Ravipati raised serious concerns about his attentiveness, professionalism, and overall preparedness to treat cardiac patients. My husband had suffered a mild heart attack the week prior to our visit. Despite this, Dr. Ravipati entered the room without appearing to have reviewed any of his test results or medical notes. Instead of addressing the documented heart attack or discussing the suspected blockage, he immediately shifted the focus to what my husband had eaten the day before the event. When I asked why diet was being prioritized over cardiac findings, he suggested it might be a gastrointestinal issue, (Huh?) an explanation that seemed inconsistent with the known diagnosis and reason for referral. When I questioned whether he had reviewed the testing, he responded by asking me what was supposedly wrong with my husband's heart. At that point, it became clear that he had not taken the time to familiarize himself with the case. For a cardiologist, failing to review recent cardiac test results, especially after a confirmed heart attack raises real doubts about clinical diligence and judgment. Additionally, we waited over an hour and a half while staff outside the exam room appeared disengaged, laughing and talking loudly outside of our room, which contributed to an overall impression of a poorly managed, assembly-line style practice. This reinforced my concerns that patient care here is impersonal, and handled without adequate attention to critical details. Fortunately, I had already arranged an appointment with a private cardiologist later in the week. I am sure our experience will be much better with an actual doctor that takes the time to read before advising. In my opinion, this practice does not prioritize thorough evaluation or patient well-being. If you are seeking knowledgeable, attentive cardiac care from a provider who prepares properly and takes heart conditions seriously, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
