Patient
Please, for the love of god, if your child has to see a cardiologist in ohio, do not let them schedule you with Dr. Kerry Rosen. I went to him in February, barely did any inextensive testing, went straight for the big costing tests, never did any type of blood work and then told me i was fine and to turn off my heart rate notifications on my watch. come to find out, im not the only patient that he was tried saying was fine. if drs do a referral to a specialist, there's obviously a reason why that pcp did a referral other than they're faking their symptoms. this specialty clearly needs more than two-three people asking you questions and then coming in and seeing you for maybe 5-10 minutes. I had to fight to get more than just a 30-60 second ekg that day. I went through seven doctors with my gallbladder in a month and a half to find out i had to have it removed and im about to have to go through the same thing with my heart. Six months later and theyre doing less extensive testing(before moving to the bigger costing tests), bloodwork which would've been done the first time, especially if the patient says there's family history and a problem has been going on for a while now.
