Our Family LOVES Dr. Shaikh. My Mother-in-Law lives in Iowa and started having heart problems. The Doctors in Iowa were inept at helping her. I got her in to see Dr. Shaikh and he was wonderful. She travels all the way from Iowa to see him, even for her routine follow-ups.
Dr. Shaikh literally saved my mother's life. He performed an emergency heart cath and inserted a stent at the right time, basically granting her a second chance at life! He is HIGHLY knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and empathetic. He puts all of that into his patient care. I am very lucky that he is my mother's cardiologist.
Good doctor. My only issue is that unless you are hospitalized you will not see Dr. Shaikh. I agree with the other review. He is a good man. But before you pick a cardiologist, learn about their Nurse Practitioner because that is who you will see for all appointments.
Looking for a cardiologist? I found the best :-) Caring, patient, and major plus great bedside manner! As i spent two weeks @ Mt. Carmal. so had time to review. :) Ask about Dr.Sullivan for the surgery. He's young,, so I was hesitant, but, great surgeon!!!!
I love Dr Shaikh, he really cares and listens. He is also very kind and friendly. He doesn't give up until he finds the right answer.
