Huang Julie C MD

I live in Pittsburgh, PA and traveled to Cleveland for a cardiology evaluation in April 2024 for recent SVTs found by my PCP. At Cleveland Clinic, they have a cardiology department specific to women, of which Dr. Julie Huang is one of the physicians. My cousin had previously seen Dr. Huang for her own cardiology evaluation a few months previous and gave Dr. Huang a fair and good evaluation to me. I had read some of the negative reviews online and must say that in my personal experience they seem inaccurate at best. Dr. Huang was kind and personable, spent adequate time with me asking questions and getting my full medical history, and her evaluation was VERY thorough. I'm sure she sees numerous patients on a daily basis - the cardiology clinic is run like a well-oiled machine - so her focus is on the facts of the condition that a person presents with; she's there to doctor, not for a social visit. She answered my questions thoroughly and made sure we would have a follow-up visit to continue monitoring my condition. Based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Julie Huang and The Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Huang is a great cardiologist! I have been seeing her for 9 years. She is very forward thinking and stays on top of the medical changes and advancements in the cardiology field. She is cautious but not afraid to prescribe new drugs after doing her thorough research. How do I know she does her research? Because I trust her 100% with my heart care! Dr. Huang is knowledgeable, professional and personable. One concern in seeking a doctor is their "bedside manner". Dr. Huang's is excellent!! I've seen her both in the office and in the hospital, recovering from a heart procedure. She is excellent in both surroundings. As you can tell, I really like this doctor and would highly recommend Dr. Huang if you are looking for a cardiologist.

It was an extremely uncomfortable appointment from the moment I sat down. It wasn't the experience I expected from a Women's Health Dept. that's supposed to cater to women. Dr. Huang basically accused me of imagining my symptoms, as if they were made up, misinterpreted my words to the point I had to correct her statement, was very cold and did not follow up to communicate my test results until 5 days after I requested the results. I will not return!

She was awful... she didn't listen to anything I had to say. She was like talking to a wall. Was talking about things I wasn't even there for. I drove 5 hours one way just for her to degrade me. I'll never go back to her. The first thing she even said to me was "why are you even here". She didn't answer any of my questions. Literally no help at all. I left her office and immediately called a different cardiologist while checking out. I'd give a 0 if I could. Worst doctor I have ever been to.
