Been seeing him since 2009. I live 2.5 hours away. 45 mins from U of M. But he is wonderful. I first met him in 2009. He cleaned up a bad Surgery I had 3 months prior. I only trust him. He always explains things to me to where I can understand it. If I have questions after my visit I'll mychart them, he always responds. He so kind. Makes you feel very comfortable, takes his time. He listen, that's hard to find.
My sister and 72 year old mother drove across the country and have been sitting in lobby for two weeks with no follow up appointment or answers. Dr. Ellis told clerk to make appointment urgent and now they won't make appointment or get back to my family. My sister is ready to give up on life and she drove across country to be ignored. Unacceptable and everyone should hear what they have been through. They have rushed to ER daily and still wait to have appointment open up but not nothing until October. I hope someone gets back to them and my sister can get seen.
I have been a patient of Dr Ellis since 2003. He literally has kept me alive during this period of time. The Cleveland clinic along with Dr Ellis is the best place for heart problems.
