This is our second attempt at obtaining quality cardiologist care for our elderly parent through Christ Hospital and we were disappointed in both physicians. The first, Dr English, barely gave us the time of day and rushed us to the door with little to no concern for the issues presented. The visit was a complete waste of time and actually emotionally traumatic and we would not recommend her to anyone. The second, Dr Glassman, was kinder and less rushed but still not thorough or seemingly concerned. He had to be pressed to address the concerns we outlined on a printed summary of concerns along with related attached testing reports that he simply was not interested in examining. He blamed most everything on "old age" and was dismissive of other explanations. He had very limited knowledge of conditions most cardiologists would be familiar with (e.g., sleep apnea, Cheyne-Stokes breathing) and had to look things up on his phone. It appeared he was simply going through the motions and looking forward to retirement. This is NOT good medical care Christ Hospital. Why are you wasting our valuable time and putting our parent's life in jeopardy? You have some excellent cardiac physicians but people like these ruin your image and reputation. You can and should do far better than this.
