Obviously no one likes being in the hospital but the past 6-7 months I've been here twice and had a few overnight stays that weren't awful. Not as scary as I thought. The place is huge and very clean! For where it's located I didn't expect much but I was impressed! From the building to the staff to the care I received. Phenomenal. I've only encountered one nurse I didn't like, but that was out of like 20. The specialists and doctors were great. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and if I ever have to go back to the hospital I'll most likely go here. I haven't experienced Mercy though (hopefully I never have to or you know have to come back to Aultman ever) but based on my 2 stays the past 6ish months and seeing how well they cared for my sister when she had her baby, I give this place a 5/5! They're doing something right and we are lucky to have such a wonderful hospital here. Also the food wasn't terrible either! I had to start on a liquid diet and got to move onto solids like STUFFED SHELLS which were so good! They also give you options if they know you're staying. Like the one day they were like "you can have a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant , spaghetti.." etc... also the Orange jello is way better than the Green jello. My experience with this hospital almost makes me wanna go into the medical field! So if any of those wonderful nurses or doctors that helped me see this, thank you so much! You made my stay so much less scary.

I was listened to at this hospital and the ER doctor who saw me on the 12th actively listened to me about my pain. I was admitted for gallbladder surgery and everyone was so nice, they were kind and didn't talk down to me or imply I wasn't in the pain I was in. The surgeon team made me feel really at ease as I had never been put under anesthesia before or been operated on before. Thank you so much to everyone who oversaw my care at this facility.

I had a sleep study July 12th. Beautiful experience. Had CPAP sleep study/fitting on August 25th. It took them weeks to get the results to my doctor. They were "understaffed" is what they told my doctor. Finally September 15th, my doctor gets the results and sends them to Aultman Aultman Home Medical Supply. I called on September 29th and talked to Courtney. The order was still sitting. She was getting it sent to the respiratory therapist. I called again on October 7th. That lady said they were waiting on paperwork from insurance company. I asked what paper, she said breath. I asked when it was sent. She said she had gotten go it yet, but she would do it after she took care of 2 orders and then apologized. To date, I don't have a CPAP machine. No return call or anything but you know what I do have...the bills for this service. They have great follow through in billing and must be well staffed. Unbelievable. Choose another hospital.

My wife went to the Emergency room just to get talked down to and treated like a moron. This the same place that told my son He didn't have appendicitis and then we had to take him to Akron children's and in fact he did. I wouldn't even call this a hospital I would call it a first aid because all they're looking to do is Band-Aid your problem
