UH Broadview Heights Health Center Emergency Room

I wouldn't wish this ER on my worst enemy. I brought my 1.5 yo old son here who was wheezing and struggling to breathe. He normally sees a wonderful pediatrician upstairs, so I'd assumed we'd get similar care. Instead he was discharged within 2 hours with no diagnosis or explanation, no breathing treatments, no oxygen, no nothing. Just a syringe of tylonel and useless bulb sucker. After witnessing this ER staff gossip and chat while my son struggled to breathe, we are never ever coming back to this so-called "emergency room". We followed up with our normal pediatrician the next day and my son was diagnosed with RSV. He said it could have been life threatening and couldn't believe with his low oxygen readings during the ER visit that they didn't do more.

Doctors who care. Nice facility. Dr. Quinn and Dr. Horwitz have both taken care of me. They were incredibly caring and helpful. Dr. Horwitz treated my mom after a bad fall and went as far to help her get home care. I cannot say enough that finding a doctor who really cares and has the time to care. I think the UH culture is far more focused on the patient. CCF is pushing productivity and building hospitals in London a Dubai. UH is building and taking care of hospitals in the poorer less served areas of Northern Ohio. Culture is top down. It shows at this ER.

Such a caring staff! Doctors and Nurses are awesome. They all took great care of me. There was no waiting. I highly dislike going to the hospital and the entire staff made my experience that much better.

Was in lab today with my son who has been sick all week, staff managed to get him in and out without further tears and got him to smile! Priceless! Great staff!!!

Don't use this facility! They make a mountain out of a molehill by deliberately misdiagnosing a problem then put you in their ambulance, send you to their MAIN CAMPUS downtown which has no physicians covered by any insurance nor is the MAIN CAMPUS itself!! $65K for the hospital then go from there. Wait 'til you get the bill NOT COVERED and they know it! Keep driving to use CLEVELAND CLINIC where ALL is covered!
