About Dr. Vijai Tivakaran, DO
Vijai Tivakaran, DO, specializes in cardiology with a focus on heart catheterizations, as well as ultrasounds, CT scans, and nuclear scans of the heart. Dr Tivakaran earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at The North Shore University Hospital in New York. He completed a fellowship at Kettering Health Dayton and has been trained in all aspects of cardiology. He is board\-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular CT. Dr Tivakaran also serves as an assistant professor of medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
