Heather Gornik, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Gornick since 2008. I have probably been a tad bit of a pain in the butt as a patient. Dr Gornik has been patient with me, explains things and always does her best to take the best care of me. Dr Gornik's staff is professional and just as caring as her.

I cannot say enough about the care I receive at University Hospitals and Dr. Gornick's team. She is THE best physician and her team is amazing, (Dina and Becky!). Fibromuscular Dysplasia is a complex condition and Dr. Gornik is the FMD guru you want handling your treatment. If you don't believe me, consult the countless articles and studies she's authored/co-authored regarding FMD. She's a pioneer!

Dr Gornik and her staff are ALL AMAZING!! I trust Dr Gornik with my life! She is so compassionate, patient & knowledgeable!! Becky is quick, accurate, & so kind with taking care of all the details (future testing, scripts, etc) and Dina is so sweet! The office gals are also very efficient! (Thanks Margo) Gotta also give Ramos credit for my Ultrasound!! My sister, Anita, also sees Dr Gornik. She has also seen another one of my sisters, Wanda, checking to see if she also has FMD. They try to accommodate us with virtual appts and labs in our own neighborhood...keeping us from driving to Beachwood if possible... THANK YOU FOR TRULY CARING & BEING THE BEST!!

Doctor Gornik, Nurse Becky and MA Daisy made my cardiology visit smooth, efficient, friendly with the professionalism I've wish everyone could experience. I first saw Dr Gornik 17 years ago on an emergency basis. What good fortune!

Excellent medical visit with Dr. Heather Gornik, Reviewed the situation and decided to have a MRi in Dec. 2025 followed by a visit with the doctor to evaluate the situation. No change currently. This doctor is outstanding, very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. L.E. Mervine
