William R. Slater, MD

I began seeing Dr. Slater a year or so ago and could not have made a better choice among cardiologists or any physicians. Aside from his sterling credentials and training, he is personable, warm, caring, attentive and thorough as to diagnosis. Moreover, he is accessible, always, and never failed to respond timely to a call or message from me, providing expert, clear, and sensible medical advice. An outstanding physician; great guy.

Dr. Slater has been my cardiologist for five years. Simply put, his level of expertise and compassion - and unrushed care - easily makes him one of the best doctors I've had. His nursing and office staff are really helpful and nice.

If I could give Dr.Slater 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat! He is brilliant, caring and incredibly compassionate. Dr. Slater is not only a renowned cardiologist but a down right wonderfully caring individual. He gives all the time you need, answers all questions & simplifies the most complex issues. Dr. William Slater has taken care of our family for Generations and I wish he would just live forever! He is absolutely wonderful. His staff is beyond helpful. We couldn't have been luckier to find a better heart doctor for comfort and reassurance...

I was happy with Dr. Slater as my cardiologist until I recently called the office's answering service after hours (5:30pm) urgently needing a prescription refill (his office failed to call in my prescription as I requested early in the day). I apologized profusely for needing to reach him after hours, but Dr. Slater was UNBELIEVABLY rude to me over the phone - I literally could not believe how nasty he was despite my apologies. I am absolutely appalled and honestly quite shaken. I've never been spoken to this way by a physician, let alone one I've had for 3 years. I'll be looking for another cardiologist ASAP. What a disappointment.
