Dr. Hou is honestly heaven sent very professional and his bed side manners are being respectful and so comforting! I have been through many cardiologists but nothing compares to Dr. Hou I came to northwell to see him and it was one of the best appointments I ever had very professional very respectful and knew what he was saying and doing. I had a fantastic experience in this office with. Dr. Hou and his staff were wonderful. They explained everything very clearly and made me feel comfortable and listened to. I left my appointment feeling reassured and well taken care of. He is 10/10 I highly recommend him. The best ever !!! He always takes the time to make sure I'm well informed about my health. I can see why he has so many long term patients .
I can't thank Dr. Hou enough for the care and attention he showed. He went above and beyond by arranging a CT scan for me on a day when it normally wouldn't have been possible. His dedication, compassion, and willingness to make things happen truly made a difference for me. It's rare to come across a doctor who not only has excellent clinical skills but also genuinely cares about their patients' well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Hou to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and empathetic physician. He's truly one of the best.
I was helping my parents look for a cardiologist who speaks Mandarin but is also U.S.-educated and highly skilled in his specialty, and that's how we found Dr. Hou. My parents spoke very highly of him after their first visit -- they said he was clear, patient, and made them feel comfortable right away. He provides exceptional care, is extremely professional and knowledgeable in interventional cardiology, and truly gives me peace of mind knowing my parents are in good hands. It's not easy to find a bilingual cardiologist who combines both cultural understanding and top medical training, and Dr. Hou delivers on both. Highly recommended.
This five-star rating is for the amazing staff working here -- everyone is friendly, professional, and caring, especially Jingjing. She truly stands out with her patience and attention to detail, and definitely deserves a raise! As for the doctor, I felt a bit uncertain. I spent about two hours doing several tests, including an ultrasound and blood work, but only had a few minutes with the doctor. When I asked questions, I didn't get clear answers -- perhaps because the doctor wanted to wait until all the tests were completed before giving any conclusions. He scheduled many additional tests, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to do them all. The staff were wonderful, but personally, I might choose to go somewhere else next time.
