It's incredibly disappointing that this hospital insists on blasting a "baby song" through the entire building every time a baby is born. The birthing center is completely separate--there's no reason for that song to echo through the halls of the primary care, specialty, or ER areas. It's extremely insensitive to patients and staff who are grieving pregnancy loss or infertility. Despite repeated requests to lower the volume or stop broadcasting it, the hospital continues to play it at maximum volume all day. When the sound system used to play inside my business suite on the property (that CHI does not own) staff refused to turn it off--so I climbed into the ceiling myself and unplug it. For a healthcare facility, this level of disregard and lack of empathy is appalling. A hospital should promote healing and compassion, not cause additional pain for those already suffering.

I walked in the emergency room yesterday feeling vulnerable and at my worst staff there was so kind to me offered me a warm blanket and pillows because I couldn't sit or stand for too long. They were absolutely amazing at one point I was laying on the bed in so much pain. I didn't say anything because I thought I didn't want to be a burden and this one nurse walked in and she said are you OK and I said yes and she said I'm going to ask you again are you OK? Are you in pain? Is there anything I can do And I just started crying she brought me pillows. She brought me a warm blanket. She made sure I was OK thank you and Nurse Whitney thank you so much. it just shows me that there are people in this world that actually still cares about people your well-being. I appreciate you guys so much. Healthcare workers are heroes.

I've consistently had a frustrating experience with CHI billing. Simple payments take 25-30 minutes or more, and verifying accounts for my husband or child is unnecessarily complicated. Unlike other medical offices, they won't tell you your full balance without a paper statement, making it hard to pay in full. The process is inefficient, inconsistent, and stressful every time. CHI seriously needs to improve billing procedures and customer service so families can manage their bills quickly and easily.

We went to CHI Williston on March 4 for a second opinion, as my son was not getting any better. His fever had returned, and he still had a dry cough. Backstory: We first went to a clinic in Minot on February 28 to have him checked. They tested him for strep, COVID, flu, and possibly other infections , but all the results came back negative. So, we went back home to New Town. A few days later, his fever returned, so I decided to take him to his pediatrician, Dr. Mulu, at CHI. Nurse Anabel helped us find an available schedule so we could get my son checked as soon as possible. Dr. Mulu made sure to gather all the necessary information about my son's symptoms. As expected--and something I really appreciate--they started with the basics: checking his back and chest with a stethoscope, examining his ears and nose for any possible infections. I also asked Dr. Mulu if he could request a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia. I remembered a similar situation a few years ago where a doctor couldn't hear anything unusual from his lungs, but the X-ray revealed pneumonia. I'll never forget what Dr. Mulu told me: "We doctors also listen to parents" and something like they not just go by the book. As it turned out, my son did have pneumonia. Dr. Mulu handled the situation with great care, making sure my son received the appropriate dosage of antibiotics to begin treatment rightaway. They explained everything to us through call and gave proper instructions. Nurse Anabel was also wonderful, helping us throughout the process--from scheduling to personally accompanying us to the laboratory. They are all friendly and treat you with most respect and care. And lastly, I'd like to share my 5-year old son's own words about what he went through/experience at both clinics " Okay Mom, We will go to tito(uncle) doctor in Williston because they are good there.. not in the hospital-the clinic in Minot. They are not good. They are not careful. When they checked my nose , they are not good. But in williston.. they are careful, they are friends " Even the kid can tell! Thank you to CHI pediatric department. You are all good!

Unless you want to deal with such disorganized chaos do not go here. I have never delt with such horrible disorganization before in a billings department. No one knows anything. They all give different information and no straight answers. Sidney is much better. There is zero competency here.
