About Dr. Charles Harris Jr., MD
I knew I wanted to be a doctor when I was in sixth grade, and I specialized in cardiology because we have state of the art technology to both diagnose and treat heart problems. \n I joined Novant Health in 1999 and have enjoyed building long-term relationships with my patients ever since. I am an interventional and general cardiologist and treat coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease. \n What I most value about cardiology is seeing patients who have been critically ill make a full recovery and witnessing patients make heart-healthy lifestyle changes. \n My wife and I have three great kids. My hobbies include running marathons, golf, skiing and hiking.

Dr Harris is an excellent professional a very skilled at his treatments CHD ,very pleasing manner focused in own what your saying an asking guestion that will improve your care. But the thing that stands out for me was his humility and sharing of his faith when ask to do a recent heart catheter procedure own me,I was not ownley grateful but he prayed before the surgery my heart jump at the thought that I knew God was in control no matter the outcome Than you Dr Harris an God that is watching over us all

Dr. Harris Jr. has been my cardiologist for the past 12 years. I trust his care and I like his punctuality, efficiency, and ability to make the patient (me) feel assured that I am getting the best of care. I also like that he offers early morning appointments. I highly recommend him. I had a quadruple bypass in 2010 when I lived in Nashville, TN. I moved to the Triad area in 2013, and was referred to him by my PCP. I feel very fortunate to have him on my healthcare team.
