Dr Dana was extremely helpful and took the time to call me with regard to my family member who had been admitted the previous evening. I met some very nice individuals like Tiffany as well in the cardiac wing.
Honestly, every nurse who spoke with me was compassionate. I am surprised to see all the negative reviews. Perhaps we got lucky!
I would recommend this hospital because they saved my family member who was life flighted in like a movie star.
Forever grateful!!!

I have never been treated so kindly and nice in my life. I have been treated like I really am cared about from the sweetest and best nursing staff in every department. These folks are outstanding. Everyone who checks me in for my appointments are so kind and respectful. The people that checks my license and always checks to make sure I know where I am going, so super nice. Always a smile they greet me with. Every staff member I pass in hallways smiles and greets me. My doctors and PA's are exceptional. I just want To tell everyone, thank you from at Atrium Health in Winston Salem. Everyone is outstanding. I know y'all have added to my healing. Thank you very much for everyone going out of their way to make me feel very special.

Dr. Omede is the best primary care physician I ever had. He has never rushed me through my appointments, he is truly so human and compassionate. He's caring, patient, and very respectful and always makes me feel heard and supported. I have a range of neuropathy disorders with a lot of symptoms and since I've been seen him my health improved considerably. He is one of the few doctors that really listens and concerns. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, and I'm so thankful to had him as my doctor. If he's accepting new patients do no hesitate!

I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 because my family member came out alive! It's DIRTY! I mean gross...MOLD growing in the bathroom, dust in the windows, dead plants (& trash) in planters, grime on the cafeteria tables, weird things hanging from the ceiling vents, chipped paint, etc etc. The whole place is unkept! My family member went in for surgery. The nurse had a hard time getting the IV in and ended up getting blood everywhere. The nurse cleaned up some of the blood soaked pads with her bare hands! No gloves! Then left the bloody blanket on my family member. While waiting for over 3 hours before surgery, went to the bathroom and there was urine on the toilet seat. Also while waiting a man in scrubs walked down the hall dragging something on the floor in a garbage bag. After surgery there must have been some complications (because my family member and I are piecing things together) and no one told me ANYTHING about the complications. I was in the waiting room for over 3.5 hours while they were trying to "manage the pain" from the surgery, but my family member was genuinely scared for their life. Only 1 or 2 of the nursing staff seemed to care about my family member's well-being. All of the other just ignored my family member and continued chatting it up with each other about their plans for the weekend and what they were going to eat etc etc. I am thankful for those 1 or 2 nurses that were attentive. I am happy my family member is alive, but I don't care how good your surgeon is...DON'T go to this hospital if you expect a clean environment to have surgery in, or eat in or go to the bathroom in. I would NEVER let another member of my family go here again! I don't recommend it for anyone.

My wife had pancreatic cancer in 2015. After whipple surgery, tumors came back in 2018! She's been doing treatments there which have been great, but Last year was referred to Palliative Care for her pain management! Her Dr Madison, has been wonderful, maybe the best! Especially understanding, caring, kind! But her nurse Meagan, is the worst! Maybe something happened to her when she was little or Mayb she's disgruntled about never being a Dr or what her problem is! My wife will put in her script request and she will go in and cancel it, all kinds of dirty underhanded stuff when Madison is on vacation. She should be at CVS giving Flu shots or something!
