Patient
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this cardiology office has been so consistently harmful that I feel a responsibility to speak up. Across multiple visits, I was repeatedly dismissed, minimized, and made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a patient seeking legitimate help. Instead of listening to my concerns, two different doctors told me they had "patients with worse symptoms" than mine, as if my suffering didn't matter. This kind of comparison is not only unprofessional -- it's cruel. I left most appointments in tears. The issues extended beyond in-person visits. My MyChart messages often went unanswered, important questions were ignored, and I was even told that I "wasn't disabled," despite the fact that I am. Having my lived reality denied so bluntly was incredibly invalidating. On top of that, I was given conflicting and inaccurate information about my condition, POTS, leaving me without proper guidance or support. These experiences didn't just frustrate me -- they caused genuine emotional harm. I now have medical PTSD because of how repeatedly dismissed, disbelieved, and unheard I was in this office. A cardiology practice should be a place where patients feel safe, respected, and taken seriously. Instead, I left every appointment feeling worse than when I arrived. I truly hope this office reevaluates how they treat their patients, because no one deserves to be spoken to, minimized, or neglected in the ways I was. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking compassionate or competent care, especially for Dysautonomia (POTS).
