The cardiology team completed a lot of testing for me (EKGs, stress test, ultrasound) and the doctor told me I was cleared. My cardiologist also faxed the reports to the gastro office confirming clearance. That said, there was a coordination breakdown: the gastro office said they still needed a signed form and I had to repeatedly follow up to find out why my procedure couldn't be scheduled. I was told your office would fax/send the necessary paperwork, but it either didn't happen promptly or the gastro office never received it. I ended up driving to the gastro clinic and having to chase both offices for answers. If you're good at the clinical work (you were) then please improve how you handle inter-office paperwork and confirmations. For patients' sake, proactively send and confirm signed clearance forms and follow up so people aren't left in pain and waiting.
