Even after many visits with Dr. Akhtar and tests with clear evidence pointing to the cause of my symptoms and condition, he continued to disregard all findings and what I was experiencing. I never received the results of findings from a test he had someone administer in his office. But, I was called 29 days later by his office demanding I come in the next day for an appointment, because I fell "through the cracks". Because Dr. Akhtar failed to listen to me and take the time to see what I had, and its severity, he kept me on a medication for months that was actually doing nothing but causing me harm and no good. I made an appointment at WakeMed and Dr. Marc Silver found the cause of everything I was experiencing in just one appointment because he reviewed all test results and listened to me and everything that I was experiencing. I absolutely would not recommend this practice to anyone.

My visited started off great the intake staff were very friendly. I met with the Dr. Karha and he answered all my questions. Checkout was horrible.i was given a one year followup appointment with a differe t doctor because Dr. Karha is leaving. This threw me because why give me a doctoe that is not going to be here? The lady who checked me out seemed to be in a rush. There 1st appointment for these testing i need isnt until Late February. I elected to get the testing done at the hospital. I was handed papers and told you will hear from them. Tried to explain i needed blood work and was told you can go whenever. When I asked questions she seemed aggravated and would over talk me. Frustrated I went to the front t desk to ask questions only to have the lady come over and continue to do the same things. I would never treat someone that way especially when they are dealing with a health issue.

I went in for my very first stress test and was nervous, Hillary was my technician she was AWESOME she explained her procedures she was going to perform and walked me through each step. I felt very cared for, and the rest of the staff were also very friendly. Hillary you ROCK my dear.

Good Drs and medical staff. The receptionists, however, poorly keep up with designated appointments. They schedule for one day and put a different day in the system. Keep your appointment cards & all sheets sent home from your previous appointment as proof. My husband and I have had to do this.

Always had NO PROBLEM WITH Appts. Or Any Other Issues. DR. J IS THE GREATEST!!(Dr.Eric Janis) He has been Our Cardiologist, my husband & myself for over 20+ years!! We trust him with...Our Life!!He is The Most Caring Physician!
