Most intelligent Doctor I've ever met ! Not to mention that he is friendly and cordial and takes the time to get to know his patients.

This doctor cares more about me than my primary and other doctors I've ever had. He's literally saving my life and sanity. He's been an absolute God send to me. It's ALWAYS worth the wait to see him and he ACTUALLY care's. I'm so sick of dealing with the medical world because the doctors don't know their butt from a hole in this ground... except for him. I will go here absolutely any day and trust him with my life. His staff is always kind and welcoming as well. I'm proud to be a paitent here and offer my sincerest gratitude for this office.

Dr. Wefald saved my life. He found a heart murmur that apparently I have had my whole life. I ended up having quadruple bypass surgery and mitral valve replacement. Honestly, I was scared to death. He reassured me and immediately sent me to the heart center at Wake Med. Dr. Wefald is very caring but blunt. He doesn't sugar coat anything. His main focus is getting you better. He also talked to my underage daughter and eased her mind some. He listens as he knows that we know our body better than anyone. There is a bit of a wait but when it's your turn he takes as much time as needed. He is very caring and he takes his time. I will continue to see Dr. Wefald and recommend everyone else to see him too

Dr Wefald and his staff are the most kind and caring medical professionals. As a patient for a decade now, I have always been able to count on him to take care of me. The staff are always polite and they strive to take care of every patient to the best of their ability. Dr. Wefald is truly a blessing and the best doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Wefald is the best, most thorough, compassionate Dr I've had. When all my other drs had given up on me, he really stepped up to help me and find out what was wrong with me. Like others have said, the wait times for your appointments are quite long. I'm usually there for no less than 2 hours for each appointment, but knowing that, I prepare and wait. It's worth it because he cares and spends his time with you and doesn't rush. I would highly recommend Dr. Wefald and all of his genius.
