FirstHealth Cardiology Reid Heart Center

First off, Dr Mark D Landers is my Cardiologist over at FirstHealth Cardiology and surgeon at Reid Hospital. The Hospital is amazing. The people there are professional friendly and even some bit family friendly. When I went in, it was elf day. a few of the staff were dressed as Christmas elves. I arrived and was welcomed in and the receptionist at the desk took my information and took my son and myself to a waiting area. Soon we met JoJo, an awesomely friendly woman who put us immediately to our ease. She said she had most of my items already ready since I went in early and would be back to take me to my area before my surgery. The folks there have a great sense of humor and you could tell they loved their jobs and what they were doing for folks. My only issue is they did not ask me what time I preferred for a follow up and set me up for an early morning appointment. That is my one and only reason for a 4 star. :( I know, hiss boo on me. but I have to be honest in all aspects. Dr Landers (5 star review to come) was friendly and let me know in no uncertain terms he had my health as his foremost concern. I really like his bedside manner. I had a loop monitor added and have been informed it is good for 4 1/2 years. I'm sorry I've not been good at doing any photos, however it is large with plenty of parking, especially for disabled parking. So clean inside and outside. Its lovely in the winter, I'm sure its gorgeous in the Spring. I came back and gave the 5 star they deserved. I'm not going to be petty about the appointment time :). Have you ever heard about doctors who are dismissive of older patients? Well I am here to tell you Dr. Brandon Williams at Pinehurst Medical Clinic Reid Hear Center is NOT that doctor. Yesterday, he took such sweet care of our 96 year old mother who had her battery on her pacemaker replaced! He wanted to make sure everything was okay before sending her home. He is a very special person! Mom's got 10 more years before this battery runs out! And the staff at the Reid Heart Center are phenomenal. They loved on our Mom just like she was their own! Very grateful family! Highly recommend.

Such a professional staff at this Hospital. Had a dear friend that had surgery emergency surgery at the main hospital and then started having problems and they transferred him over to the heart and kidney center. The staff there was unbelievably good. They explained everything they listened. The room and the area of the hospital was clean. They offered Mass when you first enter into the hospital and they check to see where you're going put your name down ask if they can help give you the location of most things that you might need like a Starbucks or waiting area. I was so impressed and I was there with family members so yeah I'll keep up the good work thank you so much for the work that you do.

My husband recently returned home after a nine-day stay in the ICU, and I am incredibly grateful for their life-saving efforts and the exceptional care he received. He was seriously ill with influenza, bacterial pneumonia, and sepsis. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone seeking high-quality medical care. Thank you to all the staff for your dedication and hard work.

12/15/24 I want to thank all the wonderful providers at the Emergency Room and the Reid Heart Center who took care of me during my recent hospitalization. Everyone was amazing - the doctors, nurses and the support staff. They made me feel safe and provided me not just with highly professional medical care but also with warm and caring family atmosphere. Thanks to you I was able to come back home. Adam K.
