I was recently referred to Dr. Iuiano for a brief dizzy/syncopal episode. He was able to identify that I had life threatening coronary artery disease This was a shock as I have been an athlete all my life and regularly exercise. His suspicions were confirmed on a cardiac catheterization which he arranged right away. Even when I was in the recovery room, he called me on my cell phone to check on me and made a personal phone call for a cardio-thoracic surgeon to see me right after my procedure. Soon after I underwent successful coronary artery bypass surgery. Needless to say, Dr. Iuliano showed exemplary clinical acumen and personalized my care in a way that went well above standard of care. I owe him my life. As a doctor myself I can't think of a better example of someone who embodies the idea of a quintessential physician than Dr. Iuliano.
